"I'm running because I believe public service can still be a noble calling. I want to make a difference in people's lives by finding solutions and creating opportunity. When people of good character, faith, & conscience work together we can get things done." |
George Nikolakakos is a successful businessman, a twenty year Air Force/Montana National Guard Veteran, and a father of four energetic 5th generation Montanans. He is a Republican running for re-election for the Montana legislature. George has grown and operates a real estate enterprise across Montana. As a housing sector businessman with a fiscally conservative approach, George understands the difference between wasteful spending and long-term investing. That skill has never been needed more in government than today. With his experience, George is primed and ready to take on the housing crisis facing our state. He was proud to be named a "Housing Champion" and "Montana Housing Advocate of the Year 2020" by the Department of Commerce/Montana Housing Coalition. With a servant's heart George is running to get things done for Montanans. Making noise and getting attention might make good politics but usually produces poor results. Through hard work with a sense of integrity and respect George firmly believes that public service can be a noble calling. But only when elected officials don't forget that holding office means taking a step down to serve under people, not over them. We need principled leaders who will listen and put aside self interest and ideology to take on the challenges of our day. George is ready to answer that call.
